I used to get up everyday in strength
To fall back again
Not yet again
The panic, the shivering, the lethargy
Nothing nothing made me crawl
I stood up again
To fall back again
Not yet again
It screwed the eye, it patched the toe
I managed, managed high and low
To fall back again
Not yet again
It shortened the breath, it tightened the beat
I screamed in pain, every time i yawned
It became the silent cries
& harder it gets to breathe
To fall back again
Not yet again
Three quarters are passed
One more will be down
I will breathe the dare
Live in honour and grace
I will be out of it
Out soon again
Waiting for a morning
Waiting for a last empty stomach call
To dispose the packets of colors
The colors i inhale
The first i will dispose is orange
The love for the rest of my life
Who gave me a life
The life i will live
yet again, yet again!

  1. Excellent Sakkar. We all rise only to fall again. The joy is in rising up again & again. :)

    I loved these lines:
